When you shut the door the microwave turns on for x-15 seconds. Opening the door stops it but closing again will cause the same consequence. The problem is intermittent. What parts should i bank check/replace to fix the trouble?Thanks,

Hi Justin, thank you for your inquiry. Nosotros would advise testing the relay switch, PartSelect number PS979520, for continuity. It also wouldn't injure to exam the other door switch, which is PartSelect number PS3409702. We hope this helps.

Timer would run but the microwave won't start

I get-go removed the top plate above the microwave door (3 screws), so I removed the plate containing the buttons and clock. The microwave has iii relay switches and they are in a picayune holder. The holder was too difficult to remove so I merely removed the bottom switch and replaced. The microwave started right upwards.

microwave wouldn't turn on merely timer worked.

was told buy a repair person to cheque the door micro switches equally it was a common trouble. removed the top plastic air grill to get access to the spiral that holds in place the command embrace. Afterwards unplugging the unit, i took out the (2) screws that held in the switches and removed them (three). One switch was a bit melted so i tested it with a 12 volt battery and it was bad. Ordered a new one from Part select and got it fast . Works great .

Microwave would count down merely not run

After unplugging the unit remove the command confront buy removing the screws. All three door switchs are on a bracket on the left. Remove the ii screws holding the bracket in identify and pull out. Disconnect the wires from the three switches and test each switch indivually to determine the bad one. I used a multimeter set on ohms.Replace the bad switch with the new ane and replace all the wires. Reassemble the unit of measurement and you are good to become.
